Not everything that counts can be counted

By: Laurie Heggedal

Albert Einstein once said,

“Not everything that counts can be counted,

And not everything that can be counted counts.”

I can count the

1 great conversation with the man who spent

2 years on the street while he hungrily ate

3 bowls of soup with the

4 fingers left after the snow and sleet.

But I cannot count the

1 big difference he made

2 me in a subtle way, when he said

3 words, “God blessed me …

4 I am alive today.”
